Welcome to the Seti Art & Education Academy website! We are a vibrant center where children can have fun while learning. Our programs focus on Creative Arts and the Farsi language, offering both in-person and online classes. Additionally, we provide enrichment classes at renowned schools throughout Southern California.
Founded and nurtured by Setareh Nafisi, a passionate entrepreneur deeply rooted in the education and art community, Star Academy has been dedicated to creating meaningful experiences for children and families since 2017. With her big heart and exceptional ability to connect with children, Setareh has fostered an environment that encourages creativity, exploration, and growth. Our Studio
At Seti Academy, we have designed a vibrant art studio that serves as a delightful haven for children, featuring colorful murals, spacious workstations, and an array of creative materials. This inviting space encourages young artists to explore their imaginations, engage in hands-on activities, and collaborate with peers, all while fostering a sense of joy and self-expression. With dedicated areas for painting, sculpting, and crafting, our studio provides the perfect environment for children to learn, play, and thrive in their artistic pursuits.
Meet the Team
Setareh Nafisi
Founder - Educator
Ms. Setareh Nafisi’s passion for education began in her childhood, inspired by her mother, who founded the Talash educational institute in Iran. Actively involved in this institute throughout her youth and university years, Ms. Nafisi continued her dedication to teaching after immigrating, further fueled by her love for education. Since 2015, she has been committed to creating a joyful and nurturing environment at our center, where children can learn enthusiastically while staying connected to Iranian culture. With the support of a dedicated team, we aim to provide memorable and educational experiences for your children.
Sima Rezavand
Educator
Ms. Sima Rezavand has been dedicated to the field of education since she began her Bachelor's degree in Teacher Training in Iran. She later earned her Master's in Education and Business. An educator since 2008, Ms. Sima has continued her educational journey after immigrating to North America, bringing her passion for teaching to new communities.
Lucy Madera
Educator
Certified Montessori teacher and school director with over 23 years of experience teaching children ages 3 to 6 years old. I been also conducting parent teacher conferences and extracurricular classes such as yoga, Spanish, Arts and crafts and dance.
